Elenna Canlas is based on Lenape and Canarsie lands in New York City and has become a positive force in music culture through over a decade of touring and recording across the globe’s renowned stages and studios as a keyboardist/synthesist, percussionist, vocalist, music director, and producer. In addition to her solo project Lupa, Elenna has supported a multitude of artists and bands including Allison Russell, treya lam, Lollise, Cochemea, Xenia Rubinos, Miles Francis, Kirsty Rock, Sinkane, Underground System, and Easy Star All-Stars. Elenna was also a Steering Wheel member of the former Brooklyn-based grassroots organization Sound Mind Collective and the co-founder of Womxn Musicians Forum, both independent artist-driven circles that aimed to cultivate movement & growth through community. Elenna joined the FSN team after attending OneBeat Sahara as a Fellow in 2022.
