Luisa Puterman

Luisa Puterman is a musician and sound artist from Brazil that strongly believes in the act of listening. She does music and sound design for exhibitions, film, dance, installations and learning experiences. Residencies are the core of her artistic practice and a fertile ground to dive into community building and collaboration. She has participated in residencies projects such as Red Bull Music Academy, OneBeat, BANFF, LABVERDE and K3. In 2020/21 she was part of Jan Van Eyck Academie in the Netherlands and now she is currently working as a PhD researcher at the School of Creative Media and WANWU, an art and ecology group based in Hong Kong. As an artistic director and FSN long term collaborator she's been co-leading OneBeat Virtual. From 2018 to 2023 she has worked as co-director and co-founder of MIHN (Imaginary Museum of Natural History), a small nonprofit that connects sounds, people and ecology and over the years she has worked with many cultural institutions, schools, art exhibitions, music festivals and public spaces around the globe.
