Intergalactic shape-shifting "kwaai diva" aka Umlilo is a genre and gender-bending multi-disciplinary artist and founder of Future Kwaai Record and co-founder of LeGrand Queer Arts Festival. Her signature sound, ' Future Kwaai’, explores and pushes the boundaries of avant-garde creative tech and contemporary electronic music in combination with AI, fashion, film, dance, artivism, visual/performance art, animation, VR, and 3D design. Her work centers around the South African black, trans and queer experience. She worked internationally with several institutions exploring creative innovation and new technologies across mediums.
