Hana Boukhris is a Kanun player, composer and educator based in Tunis. As a professional player since the age of seven, she has participated in countless national and international concerts and festivals, winning Grand Prize at the Abu Dhabi International Music Competition and participating as a semi-finalist in 2011 Arabs Got Talent. Hana is also a dedicated educator, striving to equalize opportunities for Kanun players in Tunisia, and addressing the lack of teaching materials for her instrument.
