Jamal AbdelKarim is a Beirut-based music producer, creative writer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. A self-taught performer on the piano, buzuq, accordion, percussion and many other instruments in a multitude of styles, he has played with numerous ensembles including the Ziad Rahbani band and the Anas Fakhry band. He has also worked as an actor and collaborated with accomplished Lebanese playwright Yehia Jaber to compose music for theatre. “Music is a lifetime job, a lifetime dedication,” says Jamal. “And I want to be able to become a lifelong learner.”
