Kateryna Ziabliuk is a Ukrainian-born, Poland-based pianist, composer, and journalist. Raised in a family of artists, she began playing piano and singing at the age of six. Kateryna's work blends composition with free improvisation, incorporating elements of traditional music to explore the culture and heritage of her homeland. She has performed extensively across Europe, especially intensifying her appearances in response to Russian aggression against Ukraine, serving as a "cultural ambassador" for her country. In addition to her musical and compositional achievements, Kateryna is a co-founder and editor of the online magazine Meloport, where she publishes articles on improvised music.
