Marija Mitrovic is a Montenegro-based contemporary pianist, multimedia artist and researcher, curious about cultural transformation and multisensory visions. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Montenegro, Marija continued her master studies in Slovenia and Germany. She is an accomplished contemporary classical performer, and a member of the Slovenian Ensemble for Contemporary Music. Recently, Marija focuses her artistic practices on the social potential of sound and multimediality in her works. She also serves as a piano teacher, with the aim of expanding the existing educational system to encourage new generations of pianists to not only be great performers, but more than that - artists who will build a better world.
