Simone Bridges (a.k.a. Nappy Nina) is a Brooklyn-based rapper and producer, originally from Oakland, with a gift for lyricism and infectious laid back flow. A gifted and natural collaborator, Nina has worked with a wide range of artists including accomplished jazz trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, experimental outfit Son Lux, and Korean-American electronic artist Yaeji. Nina is also the co-founder of Lucidhaus a music label based in Brooklyn whose summer garden sessions provide a space for likeminded artists in the community to come together to perform and party.
