Tewdros Fantahun Ejigu, aka IV, is an Addis Ababa-based producer and beatmaker who fuses traditional Ethiopian folk instruments and the influence of Ethio-jazz with his hip hop and electronic productions. Tewdros has collaborated with DJ Kam, a reggae artist from UAE, and rapper Lerone to produce tracks which address mental health and other stigmatized issues in Ethiopian culture. He also plays the kirar, a stringed lyre from Ethiopia.
