FSN's work with incarcerated youth was part of our work Carnegie Hall’s Musical Connections Program at Weill Music Institute that bring visiting artists to schools, juvenile detention centers, prisons and hospitals across New York City. Due to security restrictions, we were not allowed to take photo or video documentation. However, the series of workshops resulted in a final concert for those in the facility and series of recordings which were shared online.
For two years, FSN led a music production and performance workshops at the youth detention centers Horizons and Crossroads, bringing in guest ensembles including renowned brass band Slavic Soul Party.
