In March 2018, FSN traveled to Cambridge, Massachusetts to lead a short intensive workshop at MIT's Sloan School of Management. Organized in partnership with MIT's Engineering Leadership Program Senior Lecturer David Niño, the goal of the workshops was to use collaborative music creation as a case study in team building, problem-solving and creative thinking. Focusing on the key skills of spontaneity, Deep Listening and quick iteration, students with limited musical backgrounds were challenged with the task of creating the 'perfect pop song' within three half-day sessions.
FSN designed and facilitated a three-day workshop for emerging leaders at MIT's prestigious Sloan School, using creative music-making to teach team building and problem-solving.
